ONe thing that is usually asked is howmany members there are in the NCAPD. Please think about becoming a member. it indicates that there is some sort of transmission problem with the nerve impulses leaving the cochlea and heading into the midbrain. kids with this disorder can test out with a normal audiogram, but might have extreme difficulty hearing in anything except perfectly quiet conditions with only one speaker.
