MY Daughter is 13 years old and in the 7th grade, I have been fighting with the school system not to fail my daughter for her disability, to me it was a form of punishment. Well it was the best thing I could have done for my daughter.I fought with the school, they gave her an fm system and than they gave her everything i asked for,just so they didnt have to listen to me.Well this year the finally gave her a laptop. after every year of her having failing grades, that was the answer to our prayers. Her grades sky rocketed from 30 and 40s all the way to 70s and 80s. her end of the year average was 75.8. To me thats like her making it to the honor roll, I gave her praise as tho she did. ON the laptop the had the easy writer program. I cant believe how well it worked for her.she also gets hearing services as tho she was deaf and gets speech services.I hope I helped someone tonight.
